Dear Parents,
I hope you all have had a chance to meet Milky Way, our
mascot. We are almost through
our first round of students.
So far, Milky Way, has been bungy jumping, she was in a
movie, she has many clothes and she had a baby.
In reading, we are beginning a unit on Traditions. We have read about quilts and nesting
dolls.
In math, we are working on regrouping and using a variety of
strategies in addition and
subtraction.
In science, we are still working on Geology.
We are busy doing experiments and journaling.
In social studies, we are working on the 50 states ( ask
your student about the song) and where we are located in the
world.
