 Mrs. Beaudry - Secretary

Mrs. Beaudry is delighted to be school registration secretary at Rosa Parks Elementary! It was a long-held desire to work in the office of an elementary school, and she is honored to work with the wonderful teachers and staff at Rosa Parks. Getting to know the parents as they stop in the office or volunteer their time has been a particular pleasure. And of course she enjoys becoming acquainted with the wonderful children throughout the year.

When registering a new student for school, she loves the fact that it’s so easy to be enthusiastic about their future experience here…….she knows they’re going to have a caring, fantastic teacher and a school that will nurture them. \

Mrs. Beaudry’s joy is spending time with her family. Husband Steve is a long-time employee of LWSD, working with special needs preschool children. Son Jon is a senior at Seattle Pacific University, majoring in music production, and daughter Kina is a senior at Western Washington University, majoring in communications/elementary education. Leigh and son-in-law Ben work for Horizon Airlines and enjoy travel around the globe, and kindly share their stand-by flight benefits with their parents. This summer the Beaudrys enjoyed the Big Island of Hawaii as well as trips to visit family and friends.

Mrs. Beaudry loves spending time with her family and friends, reading, walking, gardening, baking, babysitting granddog Murphy, going to all kinds of music concerts, and listening to husband Steve playing blues harmonica with local bands.

“I look forward to a second wonderful year at Rosa Parks Elementary. Please stop by the office and say Hi!”
