One of her favorite places is her family cabin on Guemes Island.  It is a part of the beautiful San Juan Islands.  "At the cabin I love to kayak, catch crab for dinner, go on walks to see the starfish, relax and read!" 

She cherishes time spent with her family and good friends.  Miss Brand and her sister are very close.  She is one year older, however, they share the same birthday!

She loves sports, dogs (especially beagles), chocolate, tea, reading, music (especially country), all kinds of arts and crafts and working with children!

I am very excited to work with an enthusiastic staff and meet everyone in this new community.  I am delighted to be a part of a school where the arts are used to continually enhance learning.  I can’t wait to learn to tap dance!"
