Lee Ann Jackson - Fourth/Fifth Grade Teacher

Lee Ann Jackson comes to Redmond Ridge from Christa McAuliffe Elementary where she has taught first and fourth grades, she also student taught at Elizabeth Blackwell Elementary.  She is a graduate of the University of Washington, with a B.A. Business Administration; and earned her Masters in Teaching from Seattle University.
Mrs. Jackson has three kids: Matthew (18), freshman in college; Anthony (15), 9th grader; Nicholas (12), 6th grader. Husband: Kelso; House Rabbit: Chester(5) They enjoy playing games and watching old movies together, but Mrs. Jackson says, "They don't know how to fold laundry."

Mrs. Jackson lists sewing, card making, tap dancing, hiking and gardening among her extra-curricular activities.  She says "I am SO excited about a school where the arts will be used by all teachers to further enhance the education of all students. The collaboration and teaming between teachers is also something I am very excited about. Each person on the staff brings a unique perspective and will contribute greatly to this wonderful school! And who wouldn't love working at a school where the staff can tap dance?"
