Stephanie Smith - Third Grade Teacher

Hailing from the driest spot in our great state of Washington, Stephanie Smith is the oldest of three children, with two younger bros. Ms. Smith's dad was a high school Math teacher and one of the many people who influenced her decision to become a teacher. Ms. Smith attended Central Oregon Community, Southern Oregon University, and the University of Washington.

In her spare time Ms. Smith is training for the 2007 Portland Marathon! She is also an avid snow boarder, and she loves to run trails with her big, licking, beautiful dog or generally do anything outside. And she is now the proud aunt of Ronin Anton!

Ms. Smith has taught fourth and sixth grades at Emily Dickinson, second grade at A.G. Bell (with our pal Mr. Newport) and fifth grade at Lincoln Elementary. I'm excited to be teaming with Lisa Collins and Jenn Drake. Had a fantastic year at Rosa Parks. Our staff is incredible! I absolutely love teaching and I can't wait to have another fun year at RP.
