Karla Stalwick - First Grade Teacher

Karla Stalwick loves being at Rosa Parks! Mrs. Stalwick Bachelor's Degree from Emporia State University; and completed graduate work at Seattle Pacific University. Originally from Kansas, Mrs. Stalwick traveled before settling in the Lake Washington School District. She was the Music Specialist at Wineteer Elementary - McConnell Air Force Base; taught 3rd grade at Sunset Elementary in Issaquah, second grade, and a multiage class at Redmond Elementary and has taught first and second grades at Blackwell.

Mrs. Stalwick and her husband, Mr. Stalwick have one daughter, Kerry, who lives in the Chicago area with her husband Eric, their two boys! She and Mr. Stalwick had a great time when their grandsons visited in August.

Mrs. Stalwick enjoys music - she plays the organ for her church in Redmond; she is actively involved in the Social Ministry program there. She likes going to the movies and always has 1 or 2 books going - especially mysteries! And to cap off a fine summer, Mrs. Stalwick had her best score ever on the golf course!
