Volunteers are essential to
our school. Through volunteering,
we support the work that is being done by our teachers and school staff. To
make this year a great success, WE NEED YOU!
Who Can Volunteer?
Volunteering in a school is a
unique and exciting experience and a privilege
for both the school and
volunteer. ALL Parents are welcome to volunteer.
How to Volunteer?
Just fill out one of the Rosa
Parks Volunteer Forms and send it back to school with your child as soon as
possible. If you have any questions feel free to contact Volunteer Coordinator
Cristina Baldner
C_Baldner@hotmail.com or (425)

I work full time. Can I volunteer?
Yes. There are many volunteer
opportunities for working parents such as: Hospitality Committee, Staff
Appreciation, “Back to school“ Event, Pancake Breakfast, among others.
I have a baby/toddler at home. Can I
volunteer?
Yes. Some volunteer positions
don’t require you to come to school; they can be done from your computer at
home.
Some General Thoughts on
Volunteering
-
Think
about your skills and strengths and volunteer accordingly.
-
Don’t be
afraid to volunteer right away. Everything can be "learned on the job." Most
importantly, you are needed.
-
We
always need more help !!!
-
If you
need more information about a volunteer opportunity, like how long it will
take or what specifically you would do, don’t be afraid to contact us. Call
