Welcome to the 2007/08 Art Docent Program.  Below you will find all the art docent documents and project materials.  To run a  PowerPoint Presentation in class, just click on it below and it will open automatically.

Choose to present your projects in any order you wish.  The Logo Design presentation should be done in October so the students can enter their designs in the Design contest mid October.  PowerPoint Presentations describe the art style and coordinate with the project outline.  The Project outline describes the student art project and includes your supply list.

Lost and Found
Lost Arts Found Again

When we see a painting hanging in a museum, we instantly know it's art.  What about the things around us we see every day?   Things that don't have velvet ropes keeping us from touching or using them?

The projects this year will introduce the kids to objects as art.  Hopefully this will let them see things around them in a different way.

In addition to these projects, we will be having our traditional T-shirt design contest.

Art Docent Meeting - Stay tuned for more information regarding our first meeting of the year.  Contact Stephanie Roscoe info@cascadecrystalice.com or Alex Lytle alex.lytle@gmail.com or your teacher if you would like to be your class representative.

During the week of January 21st we will have paper-covered walls across from and next to the Art Docent bulletin board (outside the library, down the hall from the office). You can complete your drawings anytime prior to this week, but we request you tape them up in the hall sometime between the 21st and 23rd. Staff will judge on January 24th and the students will choose between 5 finalists on the 28th.
